Creating A Custom Made Petite-Fête Invitation

Introduction

The invitation is perhaps one of the first glimpses your guests will have into your upcoming celebration. It is there the tone is set which rouses a flurry of excitement in anticipation of your upcoming event. A Petite-Fête, custom-made-invitation design is about allowing clients to express their individual style in such a way that is completely unique and exclusively their own. We will draw on ideas, themes, materials and embellishments from around the world to complete your couture package. Getting to know your event

The first step is an initial consultation. A meeting, either on the phone or in person will occur to allows us to have the opportunity to get to know about your event and to define your design. At this stage you will give us some insight into your vision, by telling us about the colors you’ve chosen, the location, the season, any theme, the flowers, tear sheets from magazines, a fabric swatch, or any other information you think will help us come up with a design which suits you.

Ideas & Concepts

Once you have chosen Petite-Fête for your invitation needs, we will forward a questionnaire to you where you will provide details about your event. After we review your questionnaire, we may contact you for additional information if necessary. At this point we will come up with a price quote based on your project requirements. This process typically takes between three to five days but may vary depending on the intricacies of your project.

When you are ready to get started, a contract will be generated and forwarded to you for signature. The signed agreement must also be accompanied by a 30% non-refundable deposit of the contract price. Once all the details have been settled, we will come up with at least 3 designs based on our conversations, your questionnaire, and your direct specifications. This will probably take around 7-10 days. This process may be longer or shorter depending on the requirements of your project. These samples will be mailed to you for your review.

Choosing your Design

After you’ve had a chance to review your actual designs, we will have an opportunity to go over each design. We will discuss any changes you want to make including adding elements from one design to the one you have chosen.

Once you are satisfied with a selection, we will integrate your changes into a final digital proof for your final approval. You will check that every detail is as you want it, including layout, wording, spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Stamp of Approval, Press time & Delivery

Once your final written approval has been granted your project can go to print. Once the printing process starts, it will take at least 4 weeks to deliver your project to your door. Please keep in mind that a project from concept to delivery can take anywhere from three weeks to 2 months so remember to plan accordingly. Final payment is required prior the delivery of your invitations.
